Tealing Power

Sinful Colors “Tealing Power” has been kicking about my nail polish cabinet for several years…but I felt like blue fingernails, so it got lucky.

“Tealing Power” is a teal (obviously) sparkle shimmer. I don’t know what that means – I just made it up. The shimmery polish isn’t really a glitter, but there are specks of something in the polish that give it a 3-dimensional stone-like feel.

This is two coats of “Tealing Power” over Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling Base Coat and under Glisten & Glow Matte Top Coat.

Target Beauty Capsule – Pampered Nails

The other Target Beauty Capsule that I ordered is the Pampered Nails Set. No shock there, I am a little obsessed with my nails.

Obviously, I won’t be using the KISS Gel Fantasy Nails – they’ll be gifted to anyone who wants them. I also already have a bottle of Sinful Colors “Low-Key Lavender”, which will also be gifted.

I will use everything else in this box: OLLY Undeniable Beauty Vitamins; Dr. Scholl’s Ultra Hydrating Foot Mask; Essie Expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish in “Crave the Chaos”; BeLoved Cherry Blossom Hand Cream in “Blossom”; Up&Up Premium Cotton Rounds; Japonesque Essential 4-Way Nail Buffer; Up&Up Strengthening Nail Polish Remover; and a Manicure Set (great for purse or travel).

Another $5 off $15 coupon that must be used in-store. Ugh.

The Pampered Nails Target Beauty Capsule is $14.99 and still available! Use your Target Red Card for 5% off.

Candy Apple

There’s nothing like Xmas in July!

Sinful Colors “Candy Apple” is a glittery red jelly topper from a few Xmases ago. The jelly is red and the big glitter is red, but there’s also gold microglitter shimmer. It’s really pretty.

This is two coats of “Candy Apple” over Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling Base Coat and under Glisten & Glow Top Coat…except for the ring finger, which of course got the matte treatment with Glisten & Glow Matte Top Coat.

Colada Mama

Sinful Colors “Colada Mama” is part of the newest Saweetie Collaboration – “Vacation Vibes”. I’ve only found a few of these in the wild (HEB)…but I keep on looking.

A Pina Colada is certainly NOT baby poop orangey brown like this nail polish. Pineapples aren’t really this color – inside or out? Maybe part of the skin? “Colada Mama” would make a great UT polish though.

This is two coats over Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling Base Coat and under Glisten & Glow Top Coat.

Mushy Gushy Mango

I may or may not have posted recently that I hate “mango anything.” That may not be exactly true, because I DO like this nail polish!

This is Sinful Colors “Mushy Gushy Mango” from their newest collaboration with Saweetie. (I have no idea who Saweetie is – I had to google her.) I threw it into my cart after noticing it during an HEB run.

Although it’s a rather sheer polish, I got nearly full coverage in two coats. This is two coats over Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling Base Coat and under Glisten & Glow Top Coat.

“Mushy Gushy Mango” may replace “Hang Ten, Brah” as my favorite mango/queso polish!

Sheer-treuse

Instead of a simple swatch of Sinful Colors “Sheer-treuse”, I decided to have a little fun with a simple pond mani…

Yeah, my nails DO look like a moldy old pond. I started with Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling Base Coat and used Sinful Colors “Snow Me White” with a dotting tool for the dots. Like my previous Tulle Temptations swatches, I did one coat/layer of dots on my index finger, two coats/layers of dots on my middle finger and three coats/layers of dots on the rest of my fingers. I finished with Sinful Colors Demi Matte Top Coat, EXCEPT for my pinky. My pinky is special and got topped with Glisten & Glow Top Coat.

I wish I had a little froggie nail sticker to go on these nails!

Giving Me Beach Vibes…

Sinful Colors “Beach Vibes” is giving me beach vibes…

“Beach Vibes” is supposed to smell like “Ocean Breeze”, but it’s the least scented so far of the whole Essenchills Collection. I did not smell ANYTHING but wet nail polish!

This is two coats of the navy blue “Beach Vibes” over Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling Base Coat. This polish lasted very well without a top coat – over 7 days with only minor edge wear.

Guilty Pleasure

How long ago did I buy this polish? Where did it even come from?

Oh yeah, this is one of my Dollar Tree finds from last year! You cannot beat 2/$1.

Sinful Colors SinfulShine “Guilty Pleasure” is a rose gold shimmer. This is two coats over Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling Base Coat and under Glisten & Glow Top Coat. This is such a dense polish, I could’ve gotten away with just one coat.

Whereas my previous polish – “Burnished Bronze” – was like an old penny at the bottom of your purse, “Guilty Pleasure” is a shiny new penny, straight from the mint. I cannot get enough of these coppery neutrals!

Hot Pink Tights

Sinful Colors “Hot Pink Tights” was the perfect Patrick pink polish to wear to The Rusty Krab Experience, a Spongebob Squarepants themed pop-up experience in Downtown Houston. I told the kids it was for them…but I think the grown-ups had more fun than the kids…

I started with Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling Top Coat. This is one coat on my index finger, two coats on my middle finger and three coats on the rest. I finished all fingers with Sinful Colors Demi Matte Top Coat, EXCEPT for my pinky. My pinkie got the glossy treatment with Glisten & Glow Top Coat.

“Hot Pink Tights” seemed to chip easily though – even with a top coat. Several of my fingers looked like shit after three days – disappointing. The color itself was really nice though – one of the best from the Tulle Temptations Collection.

Eucalyptahhh

I LOVED the light eucalyptus scent of Sinful Colors “Eucalyptahhh” – I wonder how long it would clear my sinuses if I wore it when I had a cold??? This might be the best smelling scent in the Essenchills Collection.

This is two coats of “Eucalyptahhh” over Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling Base Coat, with NO top coat.

Coincidentally, “Eucalyptahhh” is the EXACT color of my new Aqua Coolmax Sheets – I HIGHLY recommend these sheets.
